PROJECTS OF THE PAST
Teatime Concert Series (Tallahassee, FL)
A non profit concert
series I began with the generous help of the musicians and local businesses of the Tallahassee Community..The main goal was to foster audience and performer interaction. It provided concerts in an intimate setting at the historic Brokaw McDougall House, and catered receptions where the performers and audience met. It featured visiting artists as well local musicians. The musicians that were involved with this project included pianist, Nadiya Caspary, violinists Janeta Mavrova, and Monty Bloom, cellist, Christopher Dingstad, violist, Ausra Jasenivecuite, and tubist, Jeffrey Meyer. The concert series was a member if the Independent Business and Community Alliance (IBaCA) and was made possible by Dew Drop In Cafe, Second Site Studio, and Jim's Piano's.
Fellow colleague, Jessica Sammis had envisioned an outreach project with the Community Hospices of Washington DC, that is now underway. This project focuses not only on the patients, but also their families.
