Violinist Shelley Mathews is a performer, educator, and creative strategist who champions clear, authentic expression. She teaches and performs throughout the D.C. area and helps musicians and creatives build brands that reflect who they truly are.

Meet Shelley
Violinist Shelley Mathews performs in orchestral, chamber, and opera orchestra settings. She currently resides in the Washington D.C. metro area and performs with ensembles including National Philharmonic, Washington Concert Opera, and holds a section Violin position in the Sarasota Opera Orchestra. She has also performed in arena settings with Rod Stewart, The Who, Game of Thrones, and has appeared on NPR's Tiny Desk Series.
Her vision to empower others manifests in both her teaching studio, where she instills a strong technical background and love for the instrument - and in her work as a creative strategist for fellow musicians, arts organizations, and small businesses. She helps them develop clear, authentic brands rooted in their values and voice.
